Immersive sci-fi games?

Looking for an immersive sci-fi game (or a few) that has an interesting world and good story. Preferably something cyberpunk or ultra futuristic. Must be on Steam (or Vita lel).

I thought the first two seemed too scary so I didn't play them haha. But Infinite was soooo good.

Bioshock as well, and yes if you can follow the series. Other than that, maybe star citizen even though is just a beta.

Mass Effect is the best RPG franchise and frankly the best sci-fi games of a generation. 

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is also amazing. Cyberpunk and a great feel. 

Bioshock is only kinda sci-fi. I would consider starting with the first one or Infinite.

Elite Dangerous is okay, but non existent on the story.

Alien Isolation, Black Mesa, Half Life 2, The Crysis Series, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Dawn of War 2, KOTOR, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Strike Suit Zero, Dead Space Series, Wolfenstein: The New Order, boh Supreme Commander games, Metal Gear Rising: Revengence. Thats a good start.

Play it and you will be interested. Best series if you want immerse yourself in an interesting sci-fi world.

If you hate origin you can get the first two games on steam.
