Cant oc with h77 boards sorry.

So few people overclock their CPUs since it doesn't even bring a noticeable boost in games. Especially in a miniITX system you don't want excessive heat.

Get this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1lBgj

When you are on a budget you get the cheapest stuff you can. You don't spend $80 on ram (as others have said) and you always get a cheap case (not $80)

O, so you want me to spec out a system for you... I was just giving you a starting point based on your budget and assumed with all the resources on the web you could at least get something roughed out on your own. This especially the case since the prices and products in my region probably differ vastly comparted to yours. If you want to oc get a black edition chip as they are unlocked but are the most expensive so depending on what else you all want getting one may be an obstacle. The you can oc without a BE chip but you wont be able to get it as far more than likely. Also with apu's getting a good oc on both the cpu and gpu is almost impossible so you could go moderate on both or a good one on either of them. As for motherboards all that really matters is what socket and chipset you have. The socket has to match and the chipset can be any of them it just depends which features you want. No of the chipsets to my knowledge oc better than another. The 6670 only pairs with 1st gen apu's and since those are quite old now your pobably going to get a 2nd gen or preferably 3rd. If you do choose one of them your going to have to go on amd's website and see what they say can be paired with what ever apu you choose. Also as a side note it was actually right on the side of the 1st gen retail box.

See my post at the first page. 600$ is enough for a decent gaming rig.

Here's what I'd go with. Mini ITX and a blue color scheme!

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1mHcL

i5 3570K

HD7870 XFX

ASUS P8H77I

:D

Why I chose the parts?

GS600 goes with the colorscheme and is a decent PSU. 7870 is the best price performance ratio in your budget range IMO. i5 3570K has lots of potential for future upgrades and will last you longer than an entry level AMD CPU. No CPU cooler at this budget, the default heatsink will do. The case is changeable however due to personal preferences I reccomend the Prodigy :)

Mate, thats 200$ over the budget, anyway nice build though if you choose a Z77 Board.

Take the FX-8320 or the 6300. They perform better in games.

 Updated Build.

Now partpicker Germany. Costs about 70€ more, but see what you get for that.

I Picked that board bor better VRM's as they used to get really hot in cheap AM3+ boards.

What should I see your post for? And $600 for a decent gaming rig I guess depends on your perception of decent. I see it as mid range and mid range starts at $1000 i would say.

Pretty much this yes. Very good build, this is what i would highly recommend. 6300 imo best choice, and 760 because prices are low.
