I would say your internet either sucks or you're connected to a way wrong server (sounds like American or Australian ping)

It might be thinking i am in the usa and i have no internet problems with other games i even run fifa without ping and that is a challenge on the ea servers

I didn't know what to put here...

You can select on which server region you want to play. Just pick the closest one and uncheck the others. See if that helps.

If you live in the EU that's good. I have only EU selected and wait times are still quite short, and the ping is always good.

War Thunder has pretty shit servers outside the US (supposedly). And none for the Oceanic region, which is why I have never bothered to play the game.
