Google Chrome Download Stops Halfway.

Three things to consider.

 

  • The connection to you and your ISP is unstable - you can check sites, because it won't be noticeable apart from maybe the occasional hang in site loading which Chrome can do anyway.
  • Anti-virus or firewall could kick into gear halfway through.
  • The site you're downloading from is under too much load.

So, every time I download pretty big file, like almost 1GB. Google Chrome tends to stop download halfway (0 bytes/s), but I don't have internet problem, I can still open sites like YouTube, Steam, LTT, etc.. Any ideas why Chrome stops downloading? I've tried using Download Manager, but I had no luck (error).

It's a bug, it happens to me aswell sometimes, I just leave it as it is to re-buffer.

I don't have HDD space issue, also permission issue.
