Hello linustechtips forum peeps! Help me find a new SSD. Here are my requirements.

 

1. Must be under 60 dollars. (Only looking to put my os on it 120GB is fine)

Not sure how much it is in the US but I got my Samsung 120GB SSD in the UK for about £50, had no problems with it so far, but that is my personal experience.

CPU: FX-6300 GPU: Sapphire R9 380X MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB PSU: XFX XTR 550W CASE: Zalman Z11 Plus SSD: Samsung 840 Evo

samsung ssd's usually have no problem.

The Kingston HyperX 120gb is about £45 which I think is around $60 which is a decent ssd with 500mb read and write

Corsair 900D, GTX 780, Maximus V Formula, 3770K, 4 x Sandisc SSD's, WD Black 2T, FrozenQ red helix res, Laing d5 pump,XSPC Raystorm, 480 Black Ice sr-1, XSPC RX240, XSPC White Tubing, 2 x koolance qd3 fittings and a butt load of corsair fans lol

Just don't buy an 850 Evo.

 

I have an 840 and have no problem, what's wrong with the 850?
