Not necessarily... It's the challenge which really determines how much content they'll get out of it; they could easily scrape more content out of it with just Linus and Luke if they made the challenge one which would take longer to do, and result in more film. 

 

Plus, there's always people that are never happy and feel LTT have to live up their expectations, and complain when there's too many episodes.
