If its the vibrations you're concerned about, you could install rubber grommets between the case and the hdd.

If its the clicking noises, that means your hdd is old and/or on its way out.

Funny, almost every single xbox 360 hdd i had would click the moment I'd put it in for the first time. Lol, guess that says something about build quality eh?

Its completely normal for a hard drive to make a buzzing noise. The noise could also come from the vibrations of the hard drive. If it starts to make a screeching noise, the needle probably made contact with the spinning disk.

Cats are like tattoos. First you get one, and one year later you've got 12. And if you want to get rid of them you have to use lasers.

Hey xMishax,

It is normal for a drive to make these sounds when under load. Even newer drives produce sounds when operating with the read/write head.
If you'd like to check if a drive is healthy or not, I would suggest running a diagnostic utility on it provided by the manufacturer.
For reducing sounds coming from the HDD you can make sure it is seated properly and firmly in its place. you can also look into some noise-reducing foams for internal drives.
