i want to add a new hard drive to my pc to install games to, however i don't know what to go for

i have a good internet connection so downloading games all the time wont be to much of a problem, yet more games are getting bigger in size

How about getting separate SSD and HDD?

Get a 120GB SSD for everything but games, photos etc and then get a 1 TB for storage.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

The SSHD for sure, the price for GB is much better.

theyre not that expensive

would still be cheaper than that 480GB SSD

120GB (or more) SSD and 1TB (or more) HDD, install OS in the SSD and other stuff in the HDD or maybe SSD if you want extra performance.

 

If you install games in the SSD the loading time is faster than in HDD.

Yes. You install Windows on the SSD and when you've booted Windows for the first time go into Disk Management, select the storage drive, right click it, give it a volume, name it and then Click, click click all the way till you're done. Go into the file explorer, right click on your pictures and video folders and go into properties and make your default download place a location on the storage drive.
