Hello!

I'm looking for a good 120mm fan that I could fit on the front of my 500R, and I plan on buying two of them.

I always used Thermalright fans and I never really wanted to change since they're great IMO, but the problem is that they don't fit on the front of my case since they're 140mm.

Lately I am looking for a better airflow in my new system since I might overclock my processor, wich means that I need more air coming to my heatsink (that has 2 Thermalright TY-147 installed on it)

I thought about getting a twin pack of Corsair's AF120 fans, but then I heard that they're really noisy, and since I'm a bit of a maniac about the noise that my system makes, I tought of Noctua's, but not sure wich model to take.

Any recommendation is accepted, give me your opinions on wich one to take!

Thanks in advance!

But Quiet edition of corsair AF120 and you will be happy.

NO just NO you didn't learn anything from my topic did you :P

Get the NF-S12A , Best case fan ever made IMO it's completely SILENT and moves a ton of air ( only for case fan operations it's not good for heatsink/radiators)

I still think that Q editions are just fine, noctuas are better but they are ugly.

Nope, Dead serious. Corsair fans are actually very average fans at best.

I know that there is much better fans but, i like the look of corsair fans even if they perform like a poop.

You should know better as a Intel respons team member :P

I did know better, I was just seeing if anybody caught on. Also IRS has nothing to do with fans, and you can have some cookies and one Internet. :)

I would recommend the Cougar Turbine fan. Using these in my case and it pushes a decent amount of airflow into the case.

Do you, by any means, know how long the cable of these fans are ? Since I can't somehow find a pwm extension cable.

Edit: Don't mind this question, just found out that there is a 3pin version...

Don't buy AP123 if you care about how silent your system is. I bought 3 of them after Linus said in a video that they were super quiet. It was a huge mistake. Very loud at 12v. You NEED to undervolt this fan to make the noise manageable. That being said, the directed air flow thing works very well.
