Hey, my 980 ti just arrived today, and it was the first component since I ordered the other ones from amazon.es (I ordered the 980ti nationally, that's why it arrived so fast).

Almost all the parts except for the hard drive(is out of stock in amazon) should arrive too in about a week, and that includes a 250 Gb SSD.

As the HDD is arriving later I wanted just to get the my favorite and most used stuff running on the SSD (like tf2, csgo, bf4 etc..).

Is this minimum requirement just BS or should I take it seriously (I really don't know why this is even a thing since drivers don't get past a few megs)?

Thank you for your time.

250gb should be ok for the time being until others  arrive, bf4 is like 40gb though xD, be careful.

what is the requirement. 250gb ssd is more than enough for all those games and more. Just don't fill up your ssd too much, I think 80% is the limit.

Heyyo,

Storage doesn't matter at all tbh... more-or-less unless you are playing a game that constantly streams data live to your device and you hate texture popping in game engines like Unreal Engine? Then even using a WD Caviar Green or Seagate Barracuda Green won't really affect your performance.

Tbh? The only reason why I have my World of Tanks on a 60GB SSD I have is so I can load into the match before others... same with good ol' Company of Heroes where everyone stared at the status screen of everyone's loading bar screaming "GO GO GO!!! I'VE GOT TO BE THE BEST!!!" hahaha... I remember one of my friends turned down his graphics settings just so he could load CoH a little faster than everyone else.. what a cheater eh? :)

Mostly for game launching and map loading since some maps do take a while to load and when you are a serious competitive player (tf2) and imagine your game crashes; It does matter. Or simply if you want to join a friend's game you will be there in a sec.

I'm only doing my favorite games and then content creation software that, launching, takes just long enough to you.
