980ti deffo mate, can pick em up for i believe in the $650 range.

you need to get a new cpu too or you cant really upgrade without issues.

just get i5 4690k + GTX 970 or GTX 980 Ti

Do this. ^^

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

I am getting a i7 4790k to go with the GPU upgrade.

So the CPU and mobo is not included in the $700?

Try to get a 980ti for $650

don't get an i7 4790k if your main use is gaming. youll get ZERO benefit over an i5 4690k while gaming.

youll just be out of pocket about $100 for the same performance.

but get a 980ti as a gpu

Gaming PC: • AMD Ryzen 7 3900x • 16gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200mhz • Founders Edition 2080ti • 2x Crucial 1tb nvme ssd • NZXT H1• Logitech G915TKL • Logitech G Pro • Asus ROG XG32VQ • SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

i5-4690k+Z97+GTX 970 or 980TI would be the best.

if you really need the hyper threading of the i7 go for it but this will break your budget.

I do some Photo/video and music production here and there.  How much better will a i7 4790k do over the i5 4690k ?

I agree. I use a i5 2500k with the gtx980ti and it still runs absolutly perfect.

When will these cpu's come out?

they wont be out for ages, they keep getting put back, the i7 is a better option than an i5 especially for rendering as it has hyperthreading so stick with the i7.
