Ebay(paypal) has excellent buyers protection.

 

As a buyer you should never be afraid, if he does not send it you get your money back, if it comes not as described you get your money back...

 

Selling things on ebay is dangerous but buying is not...

 

On a related note, recently got 2 $100 waterblocks for 30 together... Took a while to come and weren't packaged well but were both brand new

If it's auction dont be surprised that it is 1 dollar. I have sold many 100 dollar plus items on ebay for 20-30 bucks. Sometimes i have made around 60. If he has a good feedback rating dont worry not a scam. also ebay offers great Buyer protecetction, so you are good.

I've just brought a whole motherboard on eBay. I got a brand new Maximus V Formula for £135. I'm not worried because Paypal will just give my money back if it's bogus. I've got stuff I'd like to sell, but that's a different ball game.
