Start with the first.

I'd avoid any of the newer ones xD

Pretty sure Black Flag (4) was still decent.

Not sure about the third game

i want to play the assassins creed series but i dont know which game i should start with and which games i should and shouldnt play.

so please get back to me soon.

 

Play them all, in order

 

1, 2 (and expansions) are really good! 3.. is .. okayish, I like the Desmond story parts in that game a lot

 

Black Flag is great

 

Unity is a bit meh (read totally shit)

Play the first. Skip every other assassins creed game until black flag. then you're done. You've played the highlights, and skipped the boring repetitive ones. Let me run that by you again, the ones you should play go like this.

  • The first, original Assassin's Creed for the storyline and gameplay ehhh, kinda

  • Black Flag, because it was the first game since the first one to offer new mechanics. that mechanic was being a pirate.

Pretty sure I'm missing a few more Nopes, but I stopped counting the games, as they turned into the CoD of single player games.

I will start with 2nd one, Ezio triology.

 

Read about story of 1st one before that. It seemed very repetitive to me, though I played it completely.

 

I haven't played Black Flag and Rogue, Unity is in backlog though.

 

Also if you are going to play these games back to back, then you might get bored, since it's pretty much same stuff, except maybe 3 and 4 with naval combat added

Finally got PS4 Pro

Play the first, then the second skip brotherhood (thats the third). Play revelations because it ends ezio's and altiar's story. (Brotherhood is all filler) If you really love what you are playing you can try AC3 because it mixes up things quite a bit but I think the story was meh. 4 was good but AC rouge was basically the same game but better in every way so play rouge last. And everything else don't bother with.
