4K Specific Lenses?
Go to solution
Solved by Dredgy,
As mentioned, 4K is a very low resolution for still cameras these days, and cheap lenses will have no problems with resolution. Most will have little to no effect on your video quality, so long as you light appropriately.
Dedicated video lenses require stuff like declicked aperture rings, geared focus rings for use with a follow focus, and properly marked for ease of use. They also usually let in more light than most still lenses, can maintain constant aperture when zooming (if they zoom), and have weather sealing.
In terms of video quality though, you'll be fine with most lenses. Just light appropriately.
