I just wanted to show you techies a frame quarry i made in Minecraft! ;)

wczNKSY.png

What it does it punches from level 70 to 0 every 7 seconds in a radius od 16x1, and stores the mined stuff digitally on a server, and not in chests. Then, later you can take the hard drives out of the server and transfer them to your base and you have your stuff that is mined.

How does it work? Let me explain.

d4XJe4v.png

The whole machine is build using frames. When frames touch some object, it sticks to them. Then you can move the frames.
The block with the arrow is called a frame pusher. The first one pushes the whole structure forward, every 7 seconds, and it stays in place as the structure moves. The second pusher has a constant on signal from the redstone block, and it pushes the first one back in place.

mcX5bHH.png

The black thing is called a Tessaract. It transfers power wirelessly, and its crazy expensive to make in survival. The two blocks with the stripes on them are the server controllers. They take the mined stuff and store them on server drives.

FMYf7yM.png

The white blocks punch a hole on the ground in around 7 seconds, and its called a Mining Well. The gray blocks are server interfaces. They transfer the items from the Mining Well into the server controller, which then stores it on HDDs.

6DHZYua.png

This times the machine. The first block is a timer, which pulses every 7 seconds. The block in the middle is a pulse extension block, repeater, and it extends that pulse 4 minecraft ticks. The last one is a wireless router used to signal the frame pusher...

All power wires are hidden inside the frame, using Microblocks.

The white thing is called a server terminal interface. I can use it to browse the hard drives...

Which can store a SHITLOAD of stuff on them. There is a process of ore doubling, and for every ore i get 2 ingots. Now calculate how much stuff i got!

This was 10 minutes of mining.

Some more screenshots of the terrain destruction this thing does!

And another shot of the whole machine. Man i am proud! :P

I made a quarry in vanilla once. And by that I mean I dug out a huge hole in vanilla.

Was pretty cool I like to think.

As you can see around the 10 minute mark, a huge hole was begun. I probably spent 50 or so hours on that project alone. Was it worth it? No. Was it different? Yes.

I had a really high voice for a 16 year old. Damn. It's changed quite a bit in the last year.

Now I want to get back into paying Minecraft. Have played it two or three times since January / February if I remember correctly

Very true. I haven't been listening to much electronic music in the last few months. Been sticking to metal and pop punk.
