Just watched the wolverine .Awesome movie.[[[[spoiler content]]]] the second half of "the Wolverine" is interesting and action packed...but it is shown that a red hot adamantium sword can cut through cold wolverine adamantium claw.

corect me if i'm wrong, but isn't hot metal softer than the same cold (**not cryogenic cold**) metal? I mean if the sword was red hot and the claws were not hot the claws being harder (sharp side not facing sword) shouldn,t be harmed if not be able cut through the sword?

not that the nature of adamantium is fully understood ...maybe it gets harder with temperature ,like the "Unobtainium

" featured in "the core" ,which gets stronger with heat and pressure!

what are your thoughts?

Probably lies in the material yeah.

My guess would be, that while adamantium normally can't break, it may be able to get cut through with a sharp enough weapon.

I still can't believe they made another Wolverine movie after that Origins movie. That was horrible.
