Facebook Friends

How many Facebook friends do you have and out of them how many do you know in real life?

 

I have in the neighborhood of 400 friends and know (or have known from high school) all but maybe 30-40 of them. The ones I don't know in RL are youtubers I follow (although don't use FB very often anymore).

Nope, the only thing I use that somewhat resembles a social network is Skype

43 and 43, I talk to around 3 of them. I don't use facebook to hoard friends into my list lol, I mainly use it to like bands that I want news about.

I have 63. And I know them all in real life. I dont accept requests from people I dont know. Even though I keep getting requests from lingerie models for some reason....

200, and I only talk to about 10 on any regular basis. The only use I've found for FB is organising group projects for uni, because everyone has it (and hence why I just accumulate people). Otherwise I'd get rid of it immediately.

Nope, you are the second or I am the second depending how you look at it. I don't have one either, facebook is stupid waste of time that makes superficial friends even more superficial. Especially when you have to witness the inane bragging or those mundane status updates: "oh look at me, I am having another meal in a pub... bugger, does that mashed potatoe look like a penis?!!  LOL ha ha" :rolleyes:

screw social media, the main reason i hop on the net is to forget the real world and i mean everything from friends and family to bad stuff i have a facebook and twitter that i don't log in since 2011 just youtube and even that i have it limited to gaming and technology, stuff that everyone i know IRL couldn't care less, hell my mom thinks every time i'm sitting on my chair in the computer thinks i am playing a game which is like 30% of the time, is just to annoying getting disturbed for something i din't do  :angry:

63. I know all of them from the real world. Except for about 5 who are people I know well enough that I leave them in my friends list. There are possibly half of those people that I dont really like but I sort of like sometimes...so I leave them in there. Just in case.

I know it's less than 15 (all real-life friends), but otherwise I have no idea. I don't touch facebook, only reason I really made it was because someone talked me into it. I check it maybe once a year.
