So I have been overclocking my geforce gtx 770 with a stock cooler and while running bechmarks have noted dow a temperature of 81 degree Celsius! Is that something I should worry about?

Here are my overclocking specs:

Coreclock: +100MHz

Memory Clock: +300MHz

PTT: +106 %

Voltage: 12.5 mV

Note: I know that my card can officially keep up with a temperature up to 98 degree celcius but I am still worried to see it run that warm ...

81 degrees C is fine under load.

What do you mean with stock cooling? Reference cooler or your MSI/Asus/etc. cooler?

Well when running through a heavy benchmark I could get up to 79 degrees but most of the time I was around 74, i believe :)

Hm. Yea that's not bad for the stock cooler.

I got a used XFX 280x that was possibly used in a mining config, and it maxes out at 60c with a 150mhz OC. So an aftermarket cooler makes a big difference. Though the silicon lottery does, too.

Sorry meant the shitty reference cooler >•<

yeah, seems fine.

81 degrees is good on reference Nvidia cards. Believe those are designed to go up to 90 degrees (and it probably is hot in your room, so the temps are fine)
