Worth upgrading, if so what to?

Hi there. So i have a i5 4460 in my PC at the moment, and I'm wondering what i should upgrade to, preferably overclock capable, also around the same price point as a 4460 or around $50 more, thanks.

If it's for gaming, I believe i5-4460 is enough already. If you upgrade, the performance increase isn't that noticeable.

no point at all really, performance gains will be small unless you are really pushing it a 4690k would be the best option though

but I would just save up for a 4790k or something else

i5 4690K. But is it worth it? Is your CPU bottlenecking your GPU?

You can barely say it's an upgrade and you probably need a good overclocking motherboard to OC it

keep the 4460, it's perfectly fine for gaming, only possibly upgrades within that price range would be the 4690K, or maybe a Xeon.

But, the 4690K would require a new motherboard, adding ~$100-200 to the price tag, plus a good CPU cooler to unlock it's full potential.

the Xeon may be good if you do alot of rendering, but the single threaded performance will likely be worse (games prefer faster fewer cores, to a point)
