Is it safe to buy? [DP Cables]

Hey guys is it save to buy cheapo DP cables (considering these http://www.ebay.de/itm/like/280854166313?clk_rvr_id=860003935280&item=280854166313&lgeo=1&vectorid=229487&rmvSB=true)

Is it just a hoax like with HMDI cables ?

can i just connect it with these

The signal is either optimal and works 100% or not and doesn't work at all.

Straight up answer:

 

Yes, I am pretty sure its safe, it is digital just like HDMI. If you have any problem with the cable, just return it. The quality won't be worse because you got a cheap cable and it probably won't hurt anything.

I don't think so, the fact that it doesn't have any notches on the plug just means that it can fall out easier, but as you don't pull the cable it should stay in place nicely.
