MSI Z87-GD65 or ASUS Maximus Hero VI?

Go to solution Solved by Bicko96,

Both mobos are good but Im still confused.

Which should I get?

And I have another question, why do people prefer 2 sticks of ram rather than 4? I would like to fill up all four slots of ram cuz it looks cool.

Oh and the ram would be 8gb or 16gb corsair platinum 2 or 4 sticks (1600mhz)

Thanks.

the ASUS Maximus Hero VI my brother has it and it's a really nice board and people like to sticks of ram because if they ever want to upgrade to more ram it means they dont have to pull out all 4 sticks to go up in ram

Get 2x8GB so you can upgrade to 32 GB's in the future if you want to/need to.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

"wunder you really are as straight as a rainbow" - Lanoi "can I fisterino your nose" - WunderWuffle

Forget about the bad memories of the past, take the good ones along with you through the present, and look forwards to the good things that will come in the future.

Either board is ok. id go for something cheaper if all i was doing was gaming.

gigabyte ud3h. intel NIC, can do 2-way vid cards..what else do you want? add on sata controller? it has that too.. look at mobos as in what you need feature wise then compare brands
