I want to paint my r9 290 WINDFORCE but I'm not sure if it would void warranties or not.

If it does I'll hold off but if it doesn't I definitely will :)

Thanks

Yes for Gigabyte if you remove the cooler it voids the warranty if you don't replace it to send it back.

If you don't want to void it however you can use white plasti-dip on the shroud only it's a removable rubber coating that can be peeled off.

Might do that. Plasti dip is expensive though :(

I'll see what I can do :P

Noooooooooooooo.......... warranties are for pussies, are you a PUSSY? If it breaks you could always remove the paint carefully.............. maybe.

If your in the US not as bad as up north in Canada it's $20 a can usually, I can get some pretty sweet spray paint and clear at that price point.

If the card breaks because you painted it, it will not be covered by warranty. If it breaks later on because of a reason unrelated to paint then it will likely be covered if still within the 3 year period.
