Why am i so picky with my GPU settings in game....

ThatGingerKid

I wanna build a PC for high end gaming. I just think its my OCD but i really hate the thought of my GPU getting low end and then i am stuck on Low Settings till i can buy a new one...its really stupid....does anyone know of a SINGLE GPU setup that could run any game on High settings at 30 FPS or more for 3 years...

30 fps is on the rather low end... Could be achieved with many GPUs IMO...

If I had a choice thinking of current gen cards...

7950 seems to be the best bang the buck.

FWIW, 6950(2GB) have been going on ebay recently for <$140. I have two of them in my system currently and they should last the next 3 years at 30 FPS. (Although I may upgrade because my OCD kills me at 30fps... 60 is much better  :) )

Well for me 30 FPS is the lowest i can accept before i start to get OCD mad with that. I will be playing at 1080p on a Dell Ultrasharp 23 Inch Monitor

7950, maybe 7870 will do.

I just want to add that wanting to play games at high settings at no lower than 30fps does not strike me as an OCD quality.
