Love it, great stuff! :)

I use a beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro, almost 10 years old and still sound execelent! :D

I,m intrested in the unboxing, and testing of the Meze 88 Classic they look very nice and for a hi-end product affordable ( €239.- ).

Meze are not hi-end.

WOW...u seriously made me drop the idea of the DT880 and get the W1000X/Grandioso...it looks so elitist. but idk how much cheaper it would be in japan considering it's made there right? the cherrywood is japanese O.0

I don't have experience of them myself but they do look cool, also have you tried them? And did the system have a £500 sound card as well?

Schiit Lyr for both. You need a blood thermonuclear explosion to give them any warmth what so ever. Plus LCD's are just more accurate in a way that no dynamic headphone ever can be.

Freaking genious.

Haha I know. My friend broke my Zalman mic so I can't do this just yet. I also don't have this kind of clothes hanger to mod it to :(.

+1 wow. genius, I'm going to go sacrifice a coat hanger and make a silly boom mic to wrap onto my ad700

I would just do it for a desk setup honestly. The only mic I want to attach to headphones like that is the modmic.

One of the Q701's from AKG's Chinese plant, sounds similar enough to a friend's Austrian K702's so I assume QC is fine lol

I still love them tho :P
