Hmm, is the question basically: "Can the past cease to exist"?

Becuase a person can easily forget their past. This can be achieved through a varity of methodes, including drug use or head trauma.

In that sense, yes, a person can forget their past.

But in a more general sense, no the past can't cease to exist. Eventhough a person forgets what they have done, it won't change that fact that they have done it.

The effect the person had on reality is still real eventhough the person doesn't remember.

Forgiving a person doesn't change the past either. Whatever was done was still done.

And for that reason, I have never really been a fan of forgiveness in the traditional sense.

I don't think anything a person has done can be forgotten by the general population, but it can be overlooked.

Whatever you do, be it big or small, good or bad, will inevitably become part of your character.

completely forgotten no, unless that person gets a new identity and name along with diffrent looks(unless nobody knew how he looked like)

while having the same looks/name, no you can't.

Humans aren't capable of forgetting bad things attached to a certain name/identity.

example:

Hitler, everybody still hates him for what he did, so bad that people sterotype germans as nazis, despite hitler being austrian.

This is while knowing half the story, hitler infact had great ideas(i dont agree with him!) but the way he went to develop them and how he acted are truelly wrong(holocaust and ww2 as example) while also doing good stuff, he laid a base for german infrastructure and gave a porsche designer/engineer the task to develop Volkswagen, a car for the people, but that got delayed due to world war 2.

modern size of volkswagen group:

audi

  • lamborghini
  • ducati
  • bugatti

skoda

seat

Bently

Prosche

Scania

MAN

so yeah, hitler did bad stuff, but he initiation was good at heart, it just wasnt carried out the right way(because hitler wasnt german, pun intended)

So no, I don't think that people are able to forget what someone did without altering the person's looks and/or name as in the example above.

But it is a fact that meanwhile the whole world hates him, without him the car indusrty wouldnt be what it is in the EU mostly.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

Not anymore at the rate we are going .

Yes there are ways to block bad memories , but I think their subconcious isn't affected so they express less violent when seeing the person who inflicted that bad memories . The Experiments are still in trial though .

It's possible but thatt would require hugh amount of resources . You need hackers , assassins , professional thieves and surgeons to give you a full new life .

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...
