Hey I've been using PSU estimation sites etc but I'm not 100% sure on what I need. Do I need a 1000w PSU for this?

Asus Z97-A

i7 4790k

Corsair Hydro H100i GTX Cpu Cooler

EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 4GB

BenQ XL2720Z 27" 144hz

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 2x8GB DDR3

Samsung Evo 250GB SSD

WD Green 2TB WD20EZRX

Bluray / DVD / CD combo

Card Reader

5-6 120mm / 140mm Corsair Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition LED Fan

Mouse & Keyboard Obviously and Some external speakers.

This is my current build but I'm looking to upgrade as needed to:

2x GTX 970

Another monitor

8GB more RAM

Another SSD, HDD or both

And a Water-cooling loop.

LED lighting

Based on this what would I need? Thanks in advance :)

You'll be fine on 750. To be safe an 850W PSU might be a good option. Look around at XFX's offerings.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

You need this.

But really, for 2 970s, a 750w is more than fine.

Fuck yo generator.

750W+ should be fine. Look at EVGA or Corsair.

Don't buy a power supply solely based on the wattage. You also need to make sure the unit can deliver sufficient amperage on the +12V rails.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably go with 850w to be safe.
