i mostly listen to Electronic death metal, melodeath, upbeat techno/house, German metal and rock, and the obvious classics like AC/DC and Audioslave. 

Right now im letting a playlist of blue stahli's antisleep 2 album and some RTPN songs like Trigger and Boomslang. + some paul udarov play through my home theater system :P

But really I'll enjoy anything with a good level of melodic and rhythmic intricacy (read: not mainstream pop music).

I don't really have a favourite genre... I kinda listen to anything that's not popular.

 

Mainly, rock, rock & roll, power ballads, some 60's, 70s, some 80s, and very little modern rock music (Nickelback, H.E.A.T., Disturbed and a few others). My favourite band, however, has to be Magnum.

I listen to almost anything electronic from chill and bass music to speedcore. Preferably with no lyrics whatsoever.

On the contrary I do like George Watsky and the Streets, Both of which concentrate on lyrics only and have interesting stories and rhymes.

No metal? Other than that rock probably, but I have a super wide assortment of music. I don't like sticking to one genre, there is too much good music in other genres!
