Just why?

Why do such errors as the Batman Arkham Knight happen? or Assasins creed Unity? or any other PC port, it seems like developers don't even test the games before releasing them, it seems like we will soon be celebreting good ports that aren't released with glitches, what the hell happened?

Still, it's way better to delay the release a couple of weeks (or months), get a good non glitchyy port and save the company's reputation

Not sure if we are on the right lines but it also has something to do with Denuvo DRM with has caused terrible performance in the past.

Cause people keep buying them.The developers need to take their time with pc ports. I don't think they understand that. Look at GTA V.. Its like the smoothest launch we've had in awhile. But look how long it came after the console. But people still bought it. Cause it was an awesome port that had additional features. Look back at gta4 and that wasnt the case. Rockstar learned from there mistakes. Hopefully other developers can to.,

They had already delayed and probably didn't want another GTA V, either that or the third party company used to port didn't communicate enough.

iron galaxy was the companies name that they used to port the game, honestly they should have seen it before they sent it out, realized how poorly it ran, tell everyone it runs badly right now and that it's being delayed by a month maybe two in order to fix the situation. Of course people would be outraged but they're more outraged at them now because of this. Just wasn't a smart business move.

But gta 5 was a really good port, it was indeed delayed a lot, but it was an awesome game and was really worth it

I dunno I never had one issue.Game ran butter smooth for me from day one..The only people out my friends that had issues were ppl with 970's and stuttering.. But it was fixed not long after.. Never bought witcher 3 so can comment  on that.

Indeed, the sales were suspended and a lot of people got refund, even the people who got the game free wanted a refund

I dunno I never had one issue.Game ran butter smooth for me from day one..The only people out my friends that had issues were ppl with 970's and stuttering.. But it was fixed not long after.. Never bought witcher 3 so can comment  on that.

"too expensive/too much work" Like a friend of mine said, its like devs are trying to convince PC gamers to buy consoles by messing up the PC versions.

I guess that the studios think that the X1 and PS4 are more important caause they are more commercial, so, don't focus too much on building the PC port

Thats sucks that you had all those issues. But like I said worked great for me and most of my friends. We were honestly surprised how great it was considering gta 4.  I dont know why your complaining about loading times either it wasn't any better on console.

You had these problems on your system? Wow I have lower specs and never had any issues...

Considering GTA 4 it was a much better launch

 

P.S I had it on an SSD and it loaded 2 seconds faster.

 

It should of been 30 seconds faster.
