About the DOA Fury X LTT Received

preface: in the new Fury X review they mention they received a DOA Fury X, I remembered in watching one of the early access videos on Vessel that Linus teased the review and (not sure if accidental or on purpose) had the card fall out of his car

So uh... DOA?

Its funny I was watching another YT person and they said they couldn't test the 390x due to artifacting, I sure hope thats not a recurring theme. You would think AMD would test the review samples no?

AMD likely sent some reviewers DOA units, and then paid other reviewers to give the card(s) positive reviews, while also supplying fully-functioning units. This sounds absurd, but if you look at how the card does against the 980 Ti, (I.E: Not better at all.) it makes a bit more sense.
