best gpu for 650$?
I live in the UK but I can have it delivered to California where, I have people who can pick it up and bring it back for me, there working there but they dont mind to
Just in case you didn't realise, the GTX 980 Ti is available in the UK. It's available for £530 at Novatech, but I wouldn't want to buy the reference design.
In terms of what card, you first have to decide if SLI is worth it. You could pick up two GTX 970s for the same price as a single GTX 980 Ti, and you would get more performance, but there's also the inherent drawbacks of going with SLI, being increased power consumption, less compatibility, less usable VRAM. The compatibility and usable VRAM is up for discussion with the imminent release of DX12, but still.
Having watched the LTT video on the Fury X, it seems like the GTX 980 Ti would be the better shout. It's got more VRAM and is faster (in most cases). It also uses less power.
I'd go for that if I were you.
As a side note, the GTX 980 Ti is also cheaper in the UK than the R9 Fury X.
