New CPU!!!!

I just bought an AMD Anthlon 3000+ Single core CPU clocked at 1.8Ghz!

for $3. never been used. brand new.

problem is, I have no use for it. yet.

so forum members, give me some ideas.

I've thought about putting it in a small frame. a conversation piece I guess. I cant use it as a coaster like logan and his 670 <_<

all ideas are welcome!

I also picked up a 36.7gb velociraptor HDD 10000rpm :D for another $3

I have no idea. I am pretty rough with my keys aswell, but I don't know how durable the heatspreader on the Athlons are.

jk my community has a small local craiglist-like site where people sell off all their garbage. theres some random computer stuff on there. like there 3 570's going for $100 a piece. last week there was an old mac (g5 maybe) with dual xenons and 4gb of ram with a 1Tb HDD for $350. the case is worth that :p

I have no idea. I am pretty rough with my keys aswell, but I don't know how durable the heatspreader on the Athlons are.

trust me. he wont want this cpu... most PHONES have better processors... my phone has 4x as many cores and is clocked higher than this cpu :p

i flattened them out with a knife so the each corner has pins pointing towards it, i tried with out flattening but the CPU was getting caught on my pocket so often it pissed me off.
