I don't see the GTX 390 Titan Fury.

Personally I say the GTX 970 but the R9 390 is new, has DX12 support (full), and has more memory (I do believe!) so that's probably the best choice really. But anyways it really depends on what you want/need. The 970 = 1080p and the 390 = higher.

gtx 970:

it's out now and is known, benchmarked and reviewed.

but has the 3.5gb problem(dont go 4k with it!)

R9 390:

it's probably better then the 970, but isn't out yet and no reviews/benchmarks yet.

said to be 980/ti class

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

I game at 1080p. So the 970 is the choice to go with?

R9 390 should be good. It's newer and AMD has been working to put the GTX 9xx series in the dust with the Rx 3xx series anyways. So you should be cool with it unless you play nvidia titles a lot !

Well the 390 could do 1080p too, but I think at a slight difference to the cards they were rebranded of.

Get whatever is cheaper if 1080p only.  Seriously, 1-2% performance difference is nothing to overpay for.  Whatever is cheaper.

Could I run this http://www.agt.si/racunalniska-oprema/graficnekartice/gigabyte-radeon-r9-390-gamingg1-8gb.htmlwith a 550W Psu?
