Is there anyway I can boost my fps in Arma 3? I already put in some launch commands through Steam. Please don't tell me "oh get an i5 or i7." I have an FX6300 OC'd @ 4.2GHz and a gtx 970

No way. Try lowering render distance on everything.

Only way, Arma needs powerful CPU's.

Yeah arma 3 isnt optimized.. like.. at all. Its a very cpu heavy game. You can throw all the gpu grunt at it you want and if your cpu isnt up to par it isnt gonna make a bit of difference. Your options are A) Lowering your settings or B ) Sucking it up and getting a new cpu
