Game Rules:

Very simple, ban the person above you for any reason i.e. "Banned for ___________" where "___________" is anything in your mind doesn't matter how stupid or irrelevant is. ~ @AlexGoesHigh

 

1. Quote the previous member (the last one to post).

2. Reason for ban.

3. Have fun.

4. Keep it civil and nothing derogatory.

Banned as it is a common problem, which does not mean that I didn't have to go about putting my brains into coming up with a completely unnecessary cause to ban somebody for. That is I was not unoriginal.

I didn't.

I got it from a relative with a busted OS. In the process of trying to fix it, I accidentally hit the PMU reset switch when I wasn't supposed to, making it crash, rendering the motherboard useless.

Thankfully I found two replacements, for less than a brand new system.

In cause you didn't want to know, it is a Power Mac G4 400 MHz PCI graphics, with a 100MB Zip Drive (add-on), and 512MB of RAM (upgraded by me from 64MB).

I'm going to run one of three OS's:
Mac OS 9
Mac OS X 10.0
Mac OS X 10.1.3

Context for the fan:
The fan inside died and it used a custom connector.

So I took a laptop fan, set it to 100% via connecting the PWM and power pins together, and let it go.

It goes voom.

PowerPC processor.

1999.

The Power Mac moniker hasn't been around since 2005-2006.
