Do I really need more RAM?

I have both photoshop and lightroom open the other day and had over 300 uncompressed RAW format images open between them plus chrome, if you are using almost all 16gb, your the problem. Not the computer.

If vegas pro is running at less than 10%, what the hell is making your cpu percentage so high? Photoshop is using 428mb too. Are you playing a 4k video in the background or something?

Idk, I was in the middle of editing a video and I needed to make a quick asset in PS

look at all the shit you have running?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I was downloading a Steam game and had a few Chrome windows up. I had my email up because I check it frequently. The other stuff (besides Vegas and PS) take up virtually no RAM.

chrome is one hungry program tho.... and skype can take a fair chunk too not to mention Gforce experience its one ram hungry program, atleast for me

first of all, why do you have all those programs running? They're maybe the reason why your RAM is taking up all 16gb.

 

Should only be using around 6gb tbh...

Well most of them were at really low mem usage, so I have no problem running them. I'll see if I can recreate the issue.
