If it literally does absolutely nothing at all, and not even gives a POST code, you've either not switched on the power supply, or you've not seated the 24-pin correctly (or not at all), or you didn't properly connect the power button.

Or, to throw a depressing fourth option in there, at least one of the aforementioned components is broken.

Would you potentially need to update the BIOS before using Haswell Refresh/Devil's Canyon?

That would require turning the PC on first...? ;)

OP: Do you have any other components to try it out with?

New to Star Citizen? Look no further!

@Wauthar yep i checked all the manuals over

You need a BIOS flashing.

You can flash a BIOS with your BIOS FlashBack button. It should be on that board.

Well Gigabyte does ship their boards with the latest BIOS availible so it's unlikely to be this but it's a good idea to throw it out there. I do know that my B85M-DS3H came with F2, the latest BIOS.

@silentgamer1, to tag people you're not supposed to copy-paste their username as that creates a clickable hyperlink, not a tagging link :P Just to let you know. If you need to copy mine here's mine:  STRMfrmXMN

You'd need to boot with a non-refresh chip first to flash the BIOS?

Sig under construction.

make sure the ram is all the way in the slots correctly

its very hard to press down

the clips need to shut on their own, not by you pressing them
