It's severely meh. I would take S6 over it any day.

It's a pretty nice looking device but I have no idea how the X10 SoC performs.

The bigger screen is a nice selling point. But 2k...eh. Something tells me battery life will suffer.

Why not wait to see what the Nexus phones look like?

Or the new Moto X.

I played with the M9+ yesterday.

Honestly, you're better off with an S6 or G4.

I think because of the placement of the finger sensor, the phone looks really ugly to me. That said, the scanner is a touch-based one, so it works better than swipe ones.

The phone's performance is fast and fluid (I can say exactly the same thing for the LG G4, which I personally own and use as my daily driver) but if you're into rooting, stay away from any phone with a MediaTek SoC.

Camera is honestly just meh. It takes good shots but considering the price, it's just not as good as the S6 and G4. I put it up next to my G4 and really, autofocus on the M9+ was significantly slower (yes, the M9+ doesn't have a laser but the S6 doesn't have one too and it's not as slow as the M9+) and the Duo Camera is pretty wonky. The 2K display looks good but I imagine it will wreck havoc on the battery.

In summary, you're better off getting a Galaxy S6 or LG G4 if you're into flagships. Both aren't all-metal phones but the S6 does have a metal-frame and glass back while the G4 has the option for premium leather backs (which has the added bonus of being removable, giving you a removable battery and microSD card slot, the latter of which is present on the M9+, but both are absent from the S6).

Anyway to increase storage on the S6 since it has no sd slot?

You can add an OTG USB drive on it but I don't think having that connected to it all-day long will be practical.

The only way besides OTG is to pay extra upfront for more internal storage and take advantage of all the cloud storage services, but that's about it.
