Will GTX 960 be bottlenecked?

RubyRoks

I'm broke and want better gaming performance. If i get the GPU now, i'll see better performance and can upgrade the rest later. The alternative being upgrade the rest of the system and be held back by a weak GPU and 1 GB of VRAM. Will my CPU and RAM bottleneck the GTX 960? Specs are in the signature and on my profile page

It will be bottlenecked , however I would still get it and upgrade the rest of the system in the future.

BOO! 960 sucks! Seriously, though, go for a 970 or Radeon 290X or 295X.

If i had the money, had a decent PSU, and AMD didn't fuck my brother and my friend at a driver level, i'd get one of those cards

For the price its pretty good in my opinion. It has really low power consumption and does not give off a lot of heat which for some people that might be what they want.

To answer your question: your CPU will bottleneck it a bit.

But I would still go for it.
