I was lucky with this one, because I got it from a hardware store that was going to throw it away. One of the employees pulled it out of his system, assuming it was broken, and sold it to me for 5 €. It turned out, only the fans were broken, causing it to overheat. That's why the beQuiet fans are on there, plus noise-reduction, of course.

I got paid $80 and then almost immediately went to Best Buy and bought a CX750M since my EVGA PSU was so loud. I'm kinda anal about noise too.

I got paid $80 and then almost immediately went to Best Buy and bought a CX750M since my EVGA PSU was so loud. I'm kinda anal about noise too.

 

That's why I am happy to have a semi passive PSU, which in my system never OCCT-ever spins the fan up.

beQuiet PSUs are very quiet, too.

Reduce > Reuse > Recycle
