Temps + CS:GO help

Hey guys, 

 

Got my new rig up and running.... 

 

Specs are 

 

AMD x4 860k OC 4.3GHZ using arctic cooler 64

Gigabyte  F2A68HM-HD2 

8GB DDR3 1600mhz

Palit GTX 960 OC edition.

 

 

No matter what settings i use on CSGO i only get 60fps max...... 

 

Also my temps are showing weird no matter what 3rd party software i use... speccy shows 96 degrees centigrade at idle :S 

 

yet core temp shows each core at 18 degrees at idle.......

 

 

Ryzen 9 7900X

Asrock X670E PG Lightning 

32GB G.Skill 6000mhz DDR5

1TB Samsung 990 Pro 

Rdna 2 iGPU

You sure v-sync isn't on ? or did you change something in console ?

Can you see the temps in BIOS or give us the load temps using HW monitor or speedfan ?

This sounds like vsync - make sure this is off.

 

 

Those temps are high. if HWMonitor/coretemp/bios all give the same readings, try reseat your cooler. Your bios would probably be the best to go by.

Dude reinstall the cooler and re-apply the thermal paste.

CSGO BTW is very CPU hungry when you uncap the framerate, so expect to see some high CPU usage.

@cesrai i've installed all drivers they are all upto date i've tried the cap fps to 300 command but nothing changes......

 

i've set coretemp to warn me when cpu hits 90 degrees but nothing has come up yet and im heavy gaming at the moment
