Hey guys, i'm hoping to paint he grills on the top and front of my carbide air 540 yellow

like this one, but as stated in yellow not orange:

Also, the little fan grill at the back.

So, in a few months years or whatever, when i sell it, if i sell the case alone i will want to go back to normal black, as yellow is not everyone thing. I saw some plasti-dip, and was wondering how it goes on metals, and whether it's easy to get off. Anyone else used it on metals before? Also was thinking of painting my fans black and putting yellow, strips. (New Sharkoon fan's would probably be cheaper, also regarding these fans, if anyone has every used them, are they quiet and effiecent and do they manage to keep your system cool?

Plasti-dip would work.

All of my friends use it when they want to change the look of their car for cheap

For the mesh plasti-dip wouldn't be a really good choice since it layers on so thick it will most likely close off some of those holes, in general plasti-dip works great on metals and plastics but lacks contact or abrasion pressure so it scratches and rips fairly easily if your not careful.

Plastidip is often used on cars aka metal and isnt tok bad to get off but its not the fastest thing in the world

Thanks, so good ol' $3.50 spray paint should cut it?

plastidip works well on metal

the only issue is that its thicker than normal paint and will block holes if you put it on a grill like that one

Just make sure to use metal based spray paint, I would scuff up the surface of the mesh to ensure it gets good adhesion or apply a light coat of primer before the paint.

use automotive paint for it not plastidip, unless you want the paint to peel off eventually

Eh i'll just use dirty old spray paint. Ill get a decent brand not the budget $3.00 stuff.
