Is there anyway to put a video as your webcam feed?

I'm currently trying to use facial tracking for an animation but I don't have a webcam so I've decided to use a video instead but unfortunately the software only uses the camera as the source. Is there a way I can redirect a video source to my webcam input?

You might want to take a look at this: http://www.vlc2vcam.com. It's a VLC plugin that should let you do what it seems you want to, although I can't say I've had any experience with it myself.

Hi, there's a freeware called Splitcam that adds a virtual webcam as a webcam device and let you set any source you want (video or pics).
