sooo im almost done with my build but theres this plug at the top of my motherboard and i dont know what to plug in to it 

its the MSI x99 SLI +

Looks like an 8 pin power connector, but not sure.

Do you not have the motherboard manual?

looks like the 8-pin power connector for the CPU, is a important connector, forgetting it would result in your system not POSTing or slowing down your cpu(and thus whole system) a lot to a point it barely works.

i do but couldnt find what it was

 

8-pin EPS12V for the CPU. The connector from the power supply may be in the form of two 4-pin ATX12V connectors that together make up the 8-pin EPS12V.
