Hello everyone,

I am a teen and want to build a rig.

I will go high end in future but for now I have some questions.

They are-

1.Is 720p good at 18.5inch or 900p will look good at 19.5inch?

I mean will 720p look as my laptop or images will be stretchy.

2.Depending on your choice what is best gpu for me to work at ultra now and at medium settings for nest 2-3 years.

go for the highest resolution. For 900p, something like a GTX 960 or R9 280x will be perfect

For 900p a console is perfect xD (Although only at 30fps low settings)

1. The 900p would look better.

2. Maybe the GTX 960 would work.

You all are making things as a debate.

I want for next 2 years and then I will make an enormous build for 1080p.

It will be like my current build is only an introduction cause 14 year old holding $1200 rig is not gold.

Let me clarify.

I want a gpu only for next 2-3 years.

I agree with 900p decision but debating is going on.

Price of r9 280x in my region is around a new gtx 970 there.

That's why I only want to settle at 900p now and then upgrade to a 1440p later but my questions are only for now.

In my region, only release date price to gpu is fixed and it never goes down.

U can buy a proper IPS 1080P display and a used GTX 680. My secondary RIG uses them and it works just fine until now. U can crank everything on max with lower AA. Just don't buy 720p or 900p display.

Good answer Randy hutajulu but gtx 680 is around 500$ in my country.

That's why being young I have decided to go for 900p for now.

You also now that you won't give your child of 14 a 2000$ rig for 1080p which will only give about 65 frames.

I will make a 1440p and a great rig when I am 19-20 or some.

I think you all understand me.

The price of gpu here is-

Gtx 960 300$.

R9280x 370$.

Gtx 970 429$

R9 270x 278$

Gtx 750 ti 200$

HD 7970 740$

I know you won't believe it but it is truth.

My family can get me an i7 4$$$k and gtx 970.

We are that much but I don't want to cash in 2000$ for 1080p at 60 frames at my age.

Normally AMD should be a little cheaper than nVidia but it really isn't apparently, where you live. Where do you live anyway?

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

to be honest. with your issue. i think just buy PS4.

just don't be too hyped by PC masterace because, sometimes, consoles is better for some reason

u can buy a console (im sure u have a TV is your house already, right?) and a proper laptop (not an expensive one, but can run properly for your age)

Get a rog swift and 980ti SLI and you sorted :D  On a serious note get a 900p monitor and 750ti should be fine but if you can get a 960 or r9 270x/280x. Get the biggest gpu you can afford but I say look into amd cards for anything lower than 1080p cause they cheaper and for a starter they good value for money.
