Would it be fine to paint onto the meshing on a case designed for airflow, or would the paint block it up and stop the mesh from working? The case in particular is the bitfenix phenom M I saw the nvidia edition of this I would like to get the normal black one and the paint the same bit's painted green on the nvidia one white. The case: Normal- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA25V31E4630&cm_re=bitfenix_phenom_m-_-11-345-035-_-Product  nvidia edition:

I'd suggest taking some painters tape or similar and covering the vents if you plan to paint the entire thing, or just paint the side panels and such while they are off the case.

You might be able to take the mesh off the case if its not riveted down too.

you would need to use a really thin spray paint that wont block the holes

If you look that the paint doesn't cover any holes

Yeah the reason the nvidia edition's paint doesn't cover any holes is because it was done professionally in a factory it could be a different story using normal spray paint without any really professional means of doing it.

yeah i would have to surround the vents with masking tape so the paint doesn't go all over the panels and I thought that if I used quite thick gloopy spray it might not work.

Thank's!
