Yes, some of them. And it's not really the problem with hyperthreading it's with the amount of cores. For example i3 with 2 cores and HT performs incredibly well nearly as good as an i5. But i7 with 4 cores HT performs about the same as i5 too because games can't use 8 cores efficiently.

Yes.

There are many games that use more than 2 cores/threads now and some that use even more than 4 threads.

Which games use it?

Far Cry 4, Witcher 3, GTA V, Cities Skyline.. Many games. Too many to list.

I know BF4 sometimes uses more than 4 threads too.

Wow there is really no difference between no hyperthreading on same clockspeed.

In well optimised games i3 kicks ass.

Pentium however doesn't do so well that is why we stopped recommending it to anyone.
