buying heated print bed for 3d printer

what is the best source to buy heated print beds? what is suggested as being the best? from my personal research i have found that glass seems to be the best base. id appreciate any help. 

 

I have a printrbot simple metal without a heat bed. it has a 150mx150mm print area. I know printrbot has a heated bed available for purchase from their sit but i wanted to see if there was a cheaper option or a better product.
