After thinking a bit more and looking at leaks... DX12

I reckon i should wait for the 390X and take advantage of DX 12 when it becomes available, i mean MS are already giving me their new Windows 10 for free, so really my Phenom II under DX12 will be brilliant according to what DX12 can achieve (if it holds true)

Okay so, mantle already exists and it barely does anything. Don't expect magic from dx12... Phenom will stay phenom there is no way it will be able to handle 390x.

Wish AMD would make a worthy successor to Phenom II... not happy.

DX12 will bring performance improvements, there is no doubt about that, but it will only do so on games that are made using DX12. Don't expect and improvements on current or older games without some major (and unlikely) updates by the game devs.

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).

Either wait for Zen to come out and hope its as good as AMD is promising or go Intel. Or stay with your phenom and stay with a gpu your cpu can handle well. Zen should be coming out in 2016 I believe?
