Who the hell uses a wireless headset?

Console gamers. They usually have to sit further back, so it makes sense.

It's actually not software, there are actually 7 small mics instead of 1 big one, so its not good for doing anything else than gaming.

Sennheiser HD518 on a daily basis and CAL (especially when I am using the laptop).

PS: You can use the gaming "surrond" sound from Razer with actually any headset...

Do elaborate...

Firstly there's no mics inside of headsets that give you sound..secondly when a headset says 7.1 surround that doesn't literally mean there is seven drivers inside, thirdly just because a headset has gaming on it doesn't mean it's only good for gaming as you said "only good for gaming because they have seven mice built in". Which is so silly it's crazy, why do you think regular headphones designed for music will always be better then any gaming headset ever will be.

So you really think if something has gaming on it it's optimized for only gaming? Just because they marketed it as so?

My point is you look at things being a gaming headset better for gaming and only designed for gaming when it's not the case. Just because they slap a gaming sticker on it.

..........You seriously use a bluetooth set of headphones? Why!?

His point is that the whole "gaming" thing makes no difference. A gaming headset, is usually a lower quality set of headphones that can be sold at a high price because it has a mic and has "Gaming" written on it.
