Distilled should be changed every 12 months or if you see something growing or building up, taking apart the loop and cleaning out all the blocks and rads is good practice and if needed replace and bad soft tubing. If you have bubbles it should rise to the top of the reservoir automatically.

as soon as it looks bad and stinks :D

Where do you see bubbles? air going through the loop? or just a little air hanging on the wall of the tubing?

do a little bit of bleeding if the bubbles hurt your  asteatics /performance

if there is no waste in your coolant (corrosion etc.) then theres is no need to change it yet but you should like every 6 months

in the res, going to the top

1) Depends really. I'd say every 6 months or so should be enough. More frequent if it starts to discolour.

2) How long did you bleed the system for?

I have had my loop for a while now, i bled it a while at the begining, but not under load. Its under load now,and the hottest it has ever been, and bubles are rising to top of res.

You shouldn't need to remove the top of the res. They will go eventually.

I bled my system for around 1+1/2 days before running it with the PC on and I still got a few bubbles. After a few months the bubbles went and now I don't have any. You can try to tilt the system and take the top of the res off to make it go quicker, but it's not needed.

Probably best to not do both at the same time :)

Nah, just take the top off and tip it upside down, that'll get rid of the bubbles for sure!

Personally, I'd just wait it out. Just having a few bubbles in the system won't affect performance that much, if at all.
